Roto Grip Hustle HYB Hybrid Bowling Ball Features:

From Chris Schlemer (Roto Grip Ball Designer): Given the recent success of the Hustle INK, it was not an easy task to create something different from the previous Hustle’s before it. But fear not my supportive friends, there is always a method to my madness. For starters, I knew it was time to create a Hustle with some surface texture, so I knew it needed to be sanded. As we all know the Hustle INK is solid so the idea of a solid sanded just didn’t make sense. Instead, the idea of a sanded hybrid made all the sense in the world. To take it one step further I wanted to make sure this hybrid blend was different in other ways too, so that is the reason for only utilizing two colors. The idea of a 50/50 blend also made lots of sense to me. So from there it was all about the material. Like I mentioned before in the development of the eTrax material we made some other mixes along the way. One of those happened to be the new VTC material. (VTC stands for Versatile Traction Control) So compared to the eTrax formulation, the new VTC is actually a little less aggressive but still more reactive than our covers used on recent releases.
Again, what does all this mean? It means the new Hustle HYB will give you a new look on the lane compared to the Hustle INK. For one, the new cover will create more shape down lane with it being a hybrid material. For two, the fact that is sanded out of the box will give it a couple different uses out of the box. It will work great if there is a little more oil on the lane. Or it will also work on those hooking conditions when the Hustle INK may be too responsive to friction. The Hustle HYB even though it is hybrid, the texture will slow it down a touch off the friction.

Inside you will find the now famous Hustle™ Core which measures closer to the lower rg level than the higher rg side. Because of this lower rg design, this core creates earlier midlane motion. While on the differential side of things it measures lower which creates more stability down lane.

Outside you find the newly formulated VTC-H18™ hybrid cover. (Versatile Traction Control - Hybrid 18) This cover was created to provide more traction and durability in the HP1 & HP2 lines respectively.

This ball is ideal for those Lighter to Medium Oil conditions. Due to this new cover formulation and the box finish of a 3000-grit pad, this ball is the smoothest Hustle to date which furhter expands the versatility of the HP1 line.
