The Gauntlet joins the two Scandals in Hammer’s High Performance line. It features the new asymmetrical Gauntlet core design that gives it an RG of 2.50″, a total differential of 0.050″, and an intermediate differential of 0.012″. Hammer has also introduced a new hybrid version of the Semtex CFI coverstock for use in this ball. This cover helps place the length and back end of the Gauntlet between the two Scandals, but with more overall hook.
The Semtex CFI (Carbon Fiber Infused) coverstock from the Scandal is back, but this time it's wrapped around a new asymmetric core. That's right. Asymmetric.
Originally, Hammer tamed this monster shell by using a symmetric core, but now they've developed the new
asymmetric Gauntlet core specifically for this beast.
Of course, the new Gauntlet features Hammer's patent pending carbon fiber infusion in both the outer core and the coverstock, making the Gauntlet one of the toughest, most durable balls on the planet.
The new Gauntlet will change direction down lane quicker and
harder than the Scandal, so get ready to run the Gauntlet.
